Rosewood – Patagonian

Anadenanthera spp.
Also known as |
Curupau, Curupay

Not a “true” Rosewood of the Dalbergia genus, this species is very dense and still gorgeous to look at.  The reddish, brown heartwood with darker streaks running through it show some beautiful grain patterns.  It turns beautifully and just oozes character.

Not listed in the CITES Appendices or on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.

Why We Love This Wood

It might not be a “true” rosewood, but we still love the gorgeous streaking color variation in the grain.
